Joanna Morrison

Joanna Morrison joined St Albans School in 2022 with over thirteen years of senior experience in independent school marketing and admissions. Prior to this, she led the Marketing and Admissions Department at Edge Grove School for a decade, overseeing significant growth in pupil recruitment and strengthening the school’s market position. She began her career in the independent sector as Registrar and Marketing Manager at Hendon Prep School, part of Cognita Schools.
A graduate of the University of Leeds with a BA (Hons) in Communications Studies and English, Joanna originally trained in London’s advertising industry, progressing to Account Director and managing high-profile multimedia campaigns for national and global brands.
At St Albans School, Joanna leads a dynamic marketing and admissions team and provides strategic direction across all marketing, admissions and communications activity, driving brand strategy and engagement to support the School’s vision and growth.
